Fluff and dust are the causes of many of the defects that occur during the coating process, so by carrying out the coating process in a clean room, we are able reduce the defective product rate. Nittoh uses a Class 10000 clean room coating line to apply high quality, high precision coatings.
Clean rooms come fully equipped with dust removal and antistatic equipment, and measures to remove fluff, dust and other contaminants, which has enabled Nittoh to drastically reduce coating defects on our products. The air-conditioned rooms enable fixed temperature and humidity, and we have equipped the line with advanced coating equipment able to flexibly operate in any environment.
Nittoh’s clean room coating line is currently producing dashboard panels, audio panels and other products for luxury vehicles that require high quality coatings.

Robots achieve outstanding precision coatings

Nittoh’s clean room coating line employs high performance robots for the coating process. This enables the setting of higher precision coating parameters compared to normal coating operations, and because there is little restriction on the workpiece shape as well, we are able to apply high precision coatings to products with detailed, complex shapes. As well as enabling a uniform coating thickness, the finishes are of extremely high quality.
