Two-color/two-material molding with general-purpose machines
In the past, it was quite difficult to simultaneously mold products using two different types of material. Using unique injection molding technologies, Nittoh has succeeded in simultaneous integral molding of two dissimilar materials.
A uniquely constructed injection unit for the second material enables us to even mold materials with differing characteristics.

Nittoh’s unique mold technologies and hot runner technologies enable two-color/two-material molding on general-purpose injection molding machines. The molding sample shown is a handheld magnifying glass using a second layer of blue rubber forming a handle over a first layer of clear PMMA. We are able to produce high cost efficiencies by simultaneously molding dissimilar materials like these.
